Garlic Green Beans

The trick to getting beautifully charred and crispy green beans is to use a pan that is large enough to get *most* of the beans in a single layer and then let them cook undisturbed for 5 minutes.

Garlic Green Beans

Crispy garlic gives these beans an incredible flavor that will keep you coming back for more!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced into thin slivers
  • 2 TBSP avocado or olive oil
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Wash and trim or snap the ends off the green beans. Slice your garlic clove into thin slivers.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat and add oil
  • Add garlic cloves and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned and crispy. Remove to a plate
  • Add green beans, granulated garlic, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine
  • Spread beans in an even layer around the pan and cook for 5 minutes undisturbed
  • Stir and cook an additional 3-5 minutes until the green beans are bright in color and are cooked through while still maintaining a slight crunch
  • Enjoy!
