These are not your typical margaritas. There are no mixers or no added sugars. The sweetness comes from the juice of the oranges and the flavored water you add at the end. You will want to use a citrus squeezer for this as it makes it so much easier but if you don’t have one the you can get just hand squeeze the citrus. Gabe’s favorite tequila to use in these is Cazadores but you should use whatever is your preference. We also like to use Spindrift or La Croix is these. The color and taste of your margarita is going to change a little depending on the flavor or sparkling water you use. We used a tangerine Spindrift for these which is why the are more orange. Any citrus flavor works though so pick your favorite. Make sure you drink responsibly and are over 21 when you try this recipe. These are best consumed outside on a sunny day with some good music playing.
Happy Cooking!
